Gaurav's core expertise lies in Java-based enterprise systems, with deep experience in data standardisation, deduplication, cleansing, and consolidation. He has worked extensively with search and indexing technologies including Lucene and Elasticsearch, and has broad exposure to the full software delivery lifecycle from requirements analysis through to production deployment. More recently, he has developed skills in machine learning and generative AI, with a focus on convolutional neural networks, recommendation systems, and building AI applications on AWS.
Experience
Gaurav is currently a Solution Engineer at Sportsbet, a role he has held since 2022, having joined the company as a Software Engineer in 2020. Before Sportsbet, he was a Senior Developer at Intelematics in Melbourne. Prior to relocating to Australia, Gaurav spent nearly four years at Pitney Bowes in India, first as a Senior Advisory Software Engineer leading Java modules for data quality and search, then as a Java Developer focused on end-to-end product development. Earlier in his career, he spent over eight years at NTT DATA Corporation as a Senior Java Developer, building and customising enterprise software across a wide range of client engagements.
